Virtual Celebration & Giving Day

Friday, November 20, 2020

Just in case you missed the actual Facebook Live Giving Day conversation between Derrick Ramsey and board member Patrick Rouse, below is the link to that inspirational and fun exchange:

2020 has looked much different than we all anticipated. Our hearts go out to all who have suffered loss and hardship during this time. In response to the pandemic, we pivoted and did things differently, yet continued with our mission of helping people find jobs!

In lieu of our annual Celebration of Hope & Dignity Luncheon, please join us VIRTUALLY for a special day of hope and inspiration. Once again, we’ll celebrate lives that have been changed and hearts that have been touched. WILL YOU HELP US CONTINUE THIS IMPORTANT WORK OF HELPING PEOPLE FIND JOBS?

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Derrick Ramsey will serve as honorary spokesperson for this year’s Celebration Event & Giving Day. Ramsey served as the Kentucky Secretary of Education & Workforce Development as well as Deputy Secretary of Commerce. He also was a quarterback & tight end at UK, when the team won the SEC Championship and Peach Bowl in 1976. He later played for the Oakland Raiders and spent 9 seasons in the NFL. Derrick understands what jobs mean to Kentucky and is passionate about helping “second chance” folks. Leading up to our Giving Day, he will be talking about Jubilee Jobs and the importance of work. Stay tuned to our social media pages for updates!
