We are pleased to announce Jubilee Jobs is a recipient of a Taco Bell Foundation 2026 Community Grant! This funding will help support our Second Start program that equips young people ages 16-26 facing significant barriers to employment with the skills and exposure needed to access meaningful work. Second Start aims to combine technology-enabled career exploration, job readiness training, and individualized job counseling to pave the way towards employment. What a day. 🧡 Our 2026 Back to Work BBQ was more than a free meal; it was a community showing up for one another in a tangible way. Over 700 neighbors joined us, and together we served 624 meals, connected folks with 41 employers and resource vendors, and 18 generous barbers gave 105 fresh haircuts to help people feel confident and ready. None of this happens without the volunteers who gave their time, the vendors who showed up ready to open doors, and the barbers who turned chairs into moments of dignity and hope. And to everyone who came through the line, filled out an application, or just needed a good meal and a fresh cut - thank you for trusting us with your day.
